Revelations Chapters 7-10
In this chapter, John saw a large crowd of people giving praise to God for their salvation.
When the seventh seal was broken, there was silence throughout heaven for half an hour.
Then there were seven angels with trumpets. As each one blew their trumpet, something terrible happened. They brought fire, hail, blood, death, destruction, bitterness, and darkness.
The last three trumpets brought terror to the people who were of the world.
When the fifth angel blew his trumpet, a star fell from the sky, smoke filled the air and locusts came out of it to torture the people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
When the sixth trumpet was blown, a voice commanded four angels to kill one-third of all the people on Earth.
But despite all this, the people who remained did not repent from their sins and turn to God.
Another angel came down from heaven and roared like a lion. The thunder responded and John was going to write down what they said, but a voice from heaven told him to keep it a secret.
We won’t know until we experience the vision ourselves, when Jesus Christ comes again. Once the seventh angel blows his trumpet, God’s plan will be fulfilled and his mysteries will be revealed to us.
